The individual should dedicate a minimum of 45 minutes daily, ideally engaging in Qur'an recitation two or three times a day, with the specific intention of seeking healing through ruqyah.

If the individual is unable to personally recite, someone else should recite on their behalf. Alternatively, they may utilise ruqyah audio, either independently or in conjunction with physical recitation. The patient is required to regularly repent to Allah throughout the day and actively engage in making supplications, including those related to ruqyah, health, as well as the supplications of Ayyub and Yunus.

Weekly tasks include reading Surah al-Baqarah at home, ideally incorporating it into daily ruqyah, with the goal of completing it once or twice a day based on individual capacity. If unable to read, the patient can ask someone or use recorded audio, though it's not a substitute if capable individuals are present.

Regular practices include undergoing cupping (hijaamah) as needed, communicating specific concerns to the practitioner, and following their recommendations regarding cupping locations based on the ailment and perceived pain areas.
